Destinations By Design Travel may charge a retainer to all clients. The retainer for cruises, US, Mexico, and Caribbean vacations is $50. The agency retainer for all other locations and vacation types is $100. This retainer includes our usual services of finding and recommending the best properties for you, along with helping you stay informed about the ever-changing rules to travel. This retainer may be reapplied to the clients final booking payment only if the vacation package is booked by Destinations By Design Travel and completed by the booking client. *If the booking of travel is within 21 days of departure, an agency retainer fee of $100 will need to be collected upfront and is NON-REFUNDABLE.
In the event you decide you no longer want to use the services of Destinations By Design Travel then the agency retainer fee is NON-REFUNDABLE, no exceptions. The retainer is to be paid via Zelle or Venmo before we can proceed with travel planning services. A fee of $3.00 will need to be added to cover the fees associated with Venmo only. Once the booking fee has been confirmed, we will send a confirmation within 3-4 business days with travel quotes.
Please note that prices and availability are subject to change until the time of booking. To secure the quoted price, most vendors require a deposit or sometimes full payment at the time of price quote, being "Deposit Ready" at the time of the priced quote is very important. After a vacation quote has been agreed upon and prices confirmed, all payment information will be required to process payment to the vendor. At that time, a Credit Authorization will be sent to you requesting your authorization for Destinations By Design Travel, LLC to submit payment on your behalf. This authorization is to protect our clients and Destinations By Design Travel, LLC against fraud.
